Title or Location: "The Architect of Vision"
There is a profound sense of perspective and protection here. The way the hand supports the entire structure suggests that this "vision" is something fragile and precious that must be held up for the world to see. Not knowing my story, it?s hard to see that this is a tribute to my promise to my late wife, whom we lost in 2022 to a tragic acciden, that I would focus on my Art.

This was the first of many celebrities I have drawn in this style. I place the actor in the middle and surround them in their most iconic roles. After my first two celebrity collages were completed, I started getting requests for other celebrities. As of today, I have done well over 30 celebrities using this format.

At dusk in front of my brothers house in southwest Kansas the sky was shockingly beautiful and the wind was uncharacteristically calm. I knew I had to always remember this moment as the horses played across the street in the rodeo grounds. It made me feel the country boy in me.

Title or Location: Drill Baby Drill
This old drill truck is parked on HWY 86 between Elizabeth and Kiowa CO. After driving by it almost every day for over four years, I finally stopped and took some photos of it so I could paint it. This watercolor is the result, it's 11.5" x15" on Saunders Waterford rough watercolor paper using Daniel Smith extra fine watercolor. I really enjoy painting old vehicles, barns and landscapes.

Title or Location: The Gathering
This is a watercolor on 1/4 sheet of 140 lb. Saunders Waterford Rough paper. The painting was from a photo I took of the yearly gathering of steers at the JA ranch in Larkspur Colorado. It started before sunrise on a chilly September morning with about 25 local cowboys unloading their horses. It ended 4 hours later with over 200 steers gathered, brand inspected, sorted and loaded into trucks. My painting is of the ranch manage and his wife riding back and forth in the loading shoots to herd

My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

Title or Location: My Favourite Toy
This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

Title or Location: Balnagask golf course
I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
