The owner told me that she wanted something fun, relaxing, and beautiful to adorn her shed. She pointed out the she especially hated the electric meter. About 1/2 way across painting on the shed, she came out with ice tea and asked if I could also include the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, I made the building end (made a corner) and then added some blue ridge mountains off in the background. Finished product has feelings of Greece with Blue Ridge mountains, making it a true fantasy piece!

Painted during various live music events, in an attempt to take my viewers places thru the portal, when a viewer passed by saying how he loved the yellow brick road, which inadvertently named the piece! And therefore i had to add Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz as one of 3 destinations among a futuristic Neon City and the Pyramids of Giza! Hope you enjoy!

Winter Evening is a 16x20" Acrylic on Canvas that is part of my Umbrella Series. After working with people who struggled with mental health, I was able to better understand my own. The Umbrella Series often depicts a woman walking into an unknown but hopeful place. The umbrella represents feelings that come with severe depression the want to isolate and hide but by doing so the umbrella pushes away others who can be supportive. The darkness represents the feeling of hopelessness contrasting w

It had been about seven years since I had drawn much of anything since I graduated high school. I did draw a lot when I was in school. Fast forward to "91". I did security guard work, part time at night and it was very boring and hard to stay awake. So, I figured doing some drawings, again, would reignite my passion for drawing and keep me awake at work at the same time. I brought a big poster to work to copy. I never really drew animals much at all and thought it would be a nice challe

This is Stanley, he is a sweet little dachshund puppy that belongs to a daughter of a friend, Kaela. I needed to find a way to produce a sample artwork but have no pets of my own. Kaela had asked how much it would cost for me to paint her puppies even though she knew she felt she couldn't afford it. Well, I'm glad she did, I'm glad she took interest in my work and I really felt connected to the photo she shared with me of this cute little dog.Well, needles to say, I needed to produce a piece

Here is my A4 drawing of a Siberian Tiger created with prisma colour pencils. The background was intentionally left white in order to empathise and better exhibit the tiger. The piece was first started back in 2016 during my apprenticeship as a tattoo artist. Interestingly it was only finished in 2021 after sitting for almost 5 years. After much impatience and long breaks from art I decided to return to the piece with years later with a renewed optimism and fresh eyes. It was one of my ear
